Home4All is a community-based day-care facility aiming to bring pride, joy and respect to people in their early stages of Dementia by inspiring and supporting them to use their skills in a homely, social environment. Home4All is an innovative model of care based on the many small scale care centres in the Netherlands. We offer people with memory loss /dementia (who are still living at home) to have a meaningful day with the use of our living room, kitchen, workshop and garden. We have a lovely dog and chickens and hope to gain some other animals. Home4All is a community project where people can enjoy their time with us, feel supported and respected. People with dementia are often not physically impaired and can use their long used skills with support from volunteers. We function as a family; together we make our own coffee, cakes, lunches. We offer the possibility to work in the garden or in the workshop to create all sorts of things, depending on their abilities. It will give their partners/carers some respite and happiness when their loved one comes home with a good feeling after their day at Home4All.
