Friends of Animal Charities
Friends of Animal Charities was founded by a group of friends – all with a passion for helping animals – to assist local animal welfare organizations on the Kapiti Coast and beyond. Opening an Op shop in Paraparaumu Beach in April 2014, FOAC has since raised over a hundred thousand dollars for local organizations like HUHA, Horowhenua SPCA and Kapiti-Horowhenua Animal Rescue Society. The shop is run by volunteers, and all money raised goes to assist organisations whose objectives are to assist animal welfare or who promote the care and well being of animals.
