Friends of Animal Charities is seeking warm, reliable volunteers to support our busy little op shop in Paraparaumu Beach on a casual basis over the summer period. As a Retail Assistant, you’ll help create a welcoming shopping experience while contributing directly to animal welfare.

Your tasks include:
• Greeting and serving customers (including EFTPOS transactions)
• Sorting, pricing, and displaying donated items
• Keeping the shop tidy and inviting
• Helping with general day-to-day shop duties

All proceeds from our op shop support organisations such as HUHA and other animal welfare groups—so every shift helps animals in need.

Requirements:

We’re looking for volunteers who are friendly, approachable, and reliable, and who enjoy working with a diverse range of people. Volunteers must be 18 years or older.

Time commitment:

Casual role to cover the busy summer period.
Shifts available Tuesday to Friday 10am - 1pm and 1pm - 4pm
Saturdays 9am to 11am and 11am-1pm
