Te Ātiawa ki Whakarongotai Charitable Trust
Our missions are kaupapa focused on environmental restoration. Mahi taiao is providing opportunities for growth and development of skills and expertise among our whānau to replenish our whenua. We work proactively with Kāpiti District Council, Greater Wellington Regional Council and other central government agencies to develop environmental policy to ensure the protection of our interests. Ātiawa ki Whakarongotai is actively involved in the Waikanae Ki Uta projects. This mahi is an important part of ensuring the views and interests of Te Ātiawa ki Kāpiti are represented.
