Plant Nursery Administrator

The Plant Nursery Administrator plays a key role in supporting the nursery’s operations through essential administrative tasks. This position helps keep things running smoothly behind the scenes so our team can focus on growing and restoring native plants.
Key Tasks:

  • Maintain and update plant inventory records
  • Manage paperwork for seed collection, propagation, and plant distribution
  • Coordinate volunteer rosters and assist with scheduling
  • Support reporting and compliance documentation
  • Help ensure clear communication within the nursery team
Requirements:
  • Confident using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organisational and attention-to-detail skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

Approx 4 hours on Thursday (or the day can be flexible if you want to do the volunteer role from home).
