Are you enthusiastic, friendly, and keen to support a great cause? We’re looking for volunteers to help make Ngā Manu Nature Reserve's upcoming Quiz Night Fundraiser a fun and successful event!
The quiz night will be held on Thursday 15th October at the Waikanae Bowling Club. Help is needed from 4.30pm with the following tasks:
• Setting up the venue at the Waikanae Bowling Club
• Greeting and checking in our guests from 6.00pm, giving any necessary direction to their allocated tables
• During the event selling raffle tickets (cash/eftpos) and helping under direction with any quiz related activities
• After the event up for tidy up and pack down to leave the venue clear and clean after the last guests leave.
Positive and friendly attitude. Great communication and people skills.
Reliability and willingness to pitch in where needed
Set up starts at 4.30pm, with guests arriving from 6.00pm. The event finishes at 9.30pm and tidying up and packing down is expected to finish at 10.30pm. Ideally, you can commit to the whole evening.
