We are looking for volunteers to help with our Ngā Manu annual Easter celebrations which include an egg hunt, colouring competition, BBQ and giant kiwi photo opportunities.
Volunteer roles include:
• "Egg" hiders: Ensure there are plenty of colourful rocks hidden around the pathway of the forest walk for children to find.
• Carparking Assistants: From 10am-2pm help direct cars to safely park with optimum efficiency in car park.
• Easter Hub Assistant: Swap rocks for chocolate eggs, swap large eggs for a lucky dip draw, replenish the colouring competition and mind the Easter Egg tree, help the face painter
• Food and Drink Assistants: Man the BBQ, hand out sausages and or man the hots drinks stand.
• Easter Kiwi and minder: Wear the Kiwi costume from 12pm-2pm. Pose with children at the Easter hub for selfies and family photos, or help look after the kiwi by volunteering as it's Minder.
Friendly and reliable. Volunteers should enjoying working with children and happy to help roll their sleeves up to help facilitate whatever is going on.
Four hour shifts available any day of the weekend during 18 April - 21 April (Good Friday to Easter Monday)
