The popular Kāpiti Strawberry Festival is back this year on Saturday 21st November and we are looking for volunteers to help out on the day to make the festival a great success. It is sure to be fun family day out for everyone, with all proceeds going to Mary Potter Hospice. We are looking for volunteers to help with any of the following tasks:
• Set Up and Pack Down at the beginning (2hr shifts from 6am to 9.30am) and end of the event (3pm to 5pm)
• Hulling strawberries (2 hr shifts between 7.30am and 1.30pm)
• Ice Cream Box washing (between 1:00pm to 3.00pm)
• Strawberry sales (between 1:00pm to 3.00pm)
• All-round helper (2 hr shifts between 11:00am to 3:00pm)
• Running games for the children (2 hr shifts between 9.30am and 3pm)
• BBQ stall (2 hr shifts between 9.30am and 3pm)
• Selling Mary Potter Hospice merchandise (2 hr shifts between 11.30am and 3pm)
• Site Management (2 hr shifts between 6am and 5pm)
• Gate Collectors (2 hr shifts between 11:00am and 1:00pm)
• Car Park Management (2 hr shifts between 8am and 3pm)
• A few other tasks which are bound to crop up!
