Christmas Gift Wrapping Elves

Help the Kāpiti Community Foodbank to spread some Christmas cheer and raise funds for their service! We are looking for enthusiastic, friendly and fun people, to help at our Christmas gift wrapping station at Coastlands Shopping Centre. Shifts available from 2nd December up until Christmas Eve. Ideally, you would be able to commit to 2 or more shifts but any help is greatly appreciated. Everything you need to volunteer on the day will be provided. You will be provided with a Kāpiti Community Foodbank t-shirt to wear during your shift. Training sessions will be provided to ensure volunteers can wrap neatly, minimise waste and request donations.

Requirements:

Ability to wrap gifts neatly and efficiently and stand on your feet for the duration of your Interacting with the public and confidence to ask for a donation in return for wrapping gifts. Enthusiastic, friendly and fun.

Time commitment:

2 to 3 hour Shifts available from Monday 2nd December to Tuesday 24th December, between 9am and 5.30pm, with late finish shifts available on Thursday evenings and the week running up to Christmas Day.
