WIDance is a collective organisation in Aotearoa which provides community dance classes, workshops and performance opportunities in the Wellington region for people of all ages and abilities. We are looking for a Fundraising Coordinator to work with our Director to secure funding. This funding will ensure we can continue to support people of all abilities to dance in the Wellington region. The role will involve identifying potential sources of funds, writing grant applications and developing a sponsorship package. A framework of previous funding applications is available to refer to and support from the Director is available until you are confident in the role.
Ideally some previous fundraising or grant writing experience, but a passion for the organisation's vision and the people it supports is a must. Attention to detail, ability to plan, with great communication skills (both written and verbal)and the drive to achieve results.
