WIDance is a collective organisation in Aotearoa which provides community dance classes, workshops and performance opportunities in the Wellington region for people of all ages and abilities. We are looking a new Board Member with a passion for helping people of all abilities to reach their full potential, to join our Trust Board.
As a Board Member you will participate in quarterly board meetings and a strategic planning meeting. We are particularly interested in hearing from volunteers who have experience or lived experience with disabilities. Meetings are held via Zoom 4 times per year between 6pm - 8pm on a Sunday.

Requirements:

An enthusiastic team player with a can-do approach. Ideally you will have some governance experience and/or a legal background. Be culturally aware with good understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

Meetings are held via Zoom 4 times per year between 6pm - 8pm on a Sunday, with additional tasks outside of the meetings.
