This important role is helping Nga Manu's rangers prepare food for our native birds and reptiles. You may also need to help in their enclosures from time to time to keep them clean and well maintained. On the job training is provided.
This is the perfect volunteer role if you're passionate about New Zealand native wildlife. Nga Manu has a large team of volunteers so you'll be able to enjoy being part of the team, being immersed in nature and making a difference to conservation and your community.

Requirements:

You will need to follow some detailed recipes and instructions which are to ensure the animals are properly fed. Good observation skills are also helpful.

Time commitment:

Two to four hours preferably in the morning.
