Art Assistant

Do you enjoy helping others explore their creativity? Te Ara Korowai Wellbeing Centre runs art and creativity classes that support positive mental health and wellbeing in our community.

As an Art Assistant, you’ll support the tutor and participants in a welcoming and busy art class. Your role will include helping set up art materials, assisting participants with various tasks during the session, and helping with pack-down and clean up at the end.

You don’t need to be an artist – just a willingness to encourage and support others as they get creative.

Requirements:
  • Friendly and able to relate to people from a range of backgrounds
  • Patient, tolerant, and flexible
  • Willing to help with practical tasks during the class
  • An interest in art or creativity is helpful but not required
Time commitment:

Thursdays 10am to 12pm (Term-time)
