If you love working with dogs, getting your hands dirty and helping to make a difference in their fluffy little lives, then this opportunity is perfect for you! In this role you will be helping in the shelter with cleaning and general care of the shelter animals. Morning shifts are very busy and loud with feeding, cleaning and care duties, once the hard work is done you will the opportunity to socialise with/walk the dogs. Afternoon shifts are quieter with duties such as dishes, housekeeping and kitchen tasks.
On site induction and ongoing support as required.

Requirements:

Empathetic, physically fit and follows direction well.
A great team player that is caring, friendly, positive, reliable and has a can do attitude. Volunteers must be 16 years or older for this role.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

Morning shifts available: 8am to 12pm any day including weekends
Afternoon shifts available: 12pm to 3pm
