Work Ready Kāpiti
Work Ready Kāpit supports local rangatahi aged 15 to 24 gain the skills, experience, and connections they need to succeed in the workforce. Our three core programmes support this journey: #EmployerMeets give young people the chance to meet local employers and practise interview skills, Work Experience (WEX) provides hands-on placements with local businesses, and the Kāpiti Work Ready Passport helps develop essential job readiness skills. OUR VISION: Empowered Kāpiti rangatahi are employed and contributing to society. OUR MISSION: We support Kāpiti rangatahi to be work ready, connected with employers and confident in the workplace.
