Joshua is a past pupil of Raumati Beach School and he currently attends Kāpiti College. Every Thursday morning when he has late start at college, Josh volunteers in our classroom instead of having a sleep-in! Here are some comments from the Room 19 students - Josh helps us with kapa haka, maths games, reading, workshops, socially speaking board games, he teaches us new games, he always tells us stories about his dog and family and learning to drive. Josh is a role model for us, he gives us ideas, he tells us about his flying, his air cadets, his martial arts. Josh tells us about all the cool things he does at college, he brings in his electronics projects and 3D printing to show us. Josh donates his old games to our class like marble run. Josh is inspiring, he helps us to be the best us!!
What makes the volunteer or team of volunteers special?
We would love Joshua to be rewarded for his manaakitanga and kindness! Here are some of the ways our class describes Joshua: he is kind, caring, amazing, he has a big heart, smiley, funny, he makes us laugh, he's helpful, smart, respectful, creative, jolly, cool, incredible, he's inspiring and he's the best!
