We follow the principle of Manaakitanga, ensuring every volunteer feels nurtured, respected, and part of the team from day one.
Work at our current location, The Shed Project, to collect and sort supplies, prepare "craft packages," and assist with the retail side of the organisation. We encourage "buddying up" or working in pairs. You can share this role with a friend or take turns on different Saturdays.
We focus on a comfortable pace. While the role involves light tasks like moving small packages, the environment is designed to be safe, welcoming, and socially inclusive.

Saturdays between 9:30 am and 2:00 pm. You can volunteer for the full duration or just a few hours as it suits you.
On-site at The Shed Project, 20 Tongariro Street, Paraparaumu, and at Otaihanga Zero Waste soon.
