We recognise the immense wisdom and "lived experience" that our community members bring to the table. Volunteering is a choice. You are supported to take breaks for health, travel, or family commitments whenever necessary.

Join a friendly working group to help our start up, create the systems and processes needed for the organisation to thrive. This role is ideal for those who enjoy a mixture of hands-on activities, strategic planning and practical problem-solving. This role is designed to be shared. You might choose to attend every meeting or simply help with specific tasks like planning or document review.

We follow the principle of Manaakitanga, ensuring every volunteer feels nurtured, respected, and part of the team from day one.

Requirements:

Great communication and a can-do attitude to muck in when required.
Reliable, enthusiastic and a great team player.

Time commitment:

Approximately 5 hours per month. Meetings are held every two weeks for about 2 hours, though this time will likely reduce as systems are established. Meetings are held in Paraparaumu with a preference for face-to-face contact, though online options are available to ensure accessibility.

Getting started:
The first step is to express your interest by filling out the form below. We will then put you in touch directly with the organisation for more information on the role and how to proceed.
