Be Part of the Magic – Volunteer as a Christmas Parade Marshall! The Kāpiti Christmas Parade is back and we need cheerful volunteers to help make it a truly magical day for our community!

Join the fun as a Parade Marshall, helping Santa’s sleigh and all the festive floats to move safely along the parade route. You’ll be part of the team that keeps the parade running smoothly, spreads good vibes, and helps everyone enjoy the day in true Christmas spirit.

What you’ll do:

Help line the parade route along Mazengarb Road and Scaife Drive
Keep spectators and floats safe and smiling
Communicate with your team via walkie-talkie (we’ll provide one!)

Requirements:

• Over 16 years old
• Friendly and reliable
• Loves Christmas and making children smile!

Time commitment:

Saturday 13th December, meet time 9am at the Sports Pavilion Mazengarb Park. 11am parade, 12pm finish.
