Daffodil Day Street Collector

We are looking for warm and friendly people to help with the Cancer Society's Daffodil Day Annual Appeal on Friday 28th and Saturday 29th August 2025 in the Kapiti area (between Paekākāriki and Waikanae).

You will provide with everything you need for collecting on the day (which includes a bucket, eftpos machine and daffodil pins).

Choose from 1‑hour shifts on Friday, or 2‑hour shifts on Saturday.

Requirements:

Reliable, friendly and caring manner. Ability to show empathy, sensitivity and patience.
Ability to work with Cancer Society staff and people from a variety of social, religious and cultural backgrounds.
A commitment to confidentiality is required at all times

Time commitment:

Shifts run between 9am and 5pm on Friday 28 August, or 9am to 5pm on Saturday 29 August 2026.
