Daffodil Day Street Collector

We are looking for warm and friendly people to help with the Cancer Society's Daffodil Day Annual Appeal on Friday 29th and Saturday 30th August 2025 in the Kapiti area (between Paekākāriki and Waikanae). You will provided with everything you need for collecting on the day (which includes a bucket, eftpos machine and daffodil pins). Choose a 1 or 2 hour shift in the morning or the afternoon on collection days. If you are committed to reducing the impact and incidence of cancer we would love to hear from you.

Requirements:

Reliable, friendly and caring manner. Ability to show empathy, sensitivity and patience.
Ability to work with Cancer Society staff and people from a variety of social, religious and cultural backgrounds.
A commitment to confidentiality is required at all times

Time commitment:

Ideally you can commit to a 2 hour shift (however 1 hour shifts are also available if required). Shifts available between 9am and 7pm on Friday 29th or 9am to 5pm on Saturday 30th August 2025.
