Social Media Coordinator

Apply your passion for social media marketing and help the development of this local wildlife conservation group. Predator Free Kapiti Coast’s mission is for a predator-free Kapiti Coast by 2050, where indigenous wildlife thrives, and ecosystems are restored, by mobilising the community and accelerating efforts to eradicate invasive predators. As a new Steering Group, they want to increase the communities awareness of what they do, and engage with community and other stakeholders such as local council, Greater Wellington Regional Council, DoC etc.

We are looking for a volunteer who can help them set up and manage their Social Media accounts to create engaging content, manage posts, and help grow an online presence. If you have previous social media marketing experience and an strong interest in wildlife conservation, we would love to hear from you!

Requirements:

• Excellent written and visual communication skills.
• Good understanding of various social media platforms and local Facebook community groups.
• Creative and proactive
• A positive, can-do attitude with a passion for social media and local wildlife conservation

Time commitment:

Flexible hours (approx. 3 to 4 hours per week).
The role can be done from home, the volunteer is also invited to join the Steering Group and attend their regular meetings.
