We are looking for a volunteer to take on the role of our Wednesday receptionist. The role entails the following:
a) Oversight of reception - ensuring phone answered and visitors attended to in timely fashion; office/admin emails are checked and dealt with regularly;
b) On Air Community Notices – check and update information between Live Shows (10am-12.30pm) – any urgent notices received after 12.30pm to be printed and put in the community notices folder – ensure downstairs community noticeboard is updated as required;
c) Booking interviews – utilising community information to source, contact and book pre-recorded and live to air interviews (under consultation with Station Manager);
d) Stationery/Kitchen Supplies – order/purchase as required;
Experience with Microsoft and Apple software essential.
Previous reception/front office experience preferred.
Willingness to cover role on other weekdays if available.
Weekly on a Wednesday, ideally 9.30am to 2.30pm, though hours are negotiable - there are also hours on Friday available if keen (10am to 2pm)
