Kāpiti Arts Studio is safe, inclusive, accessible space where artists can be heard through their creativity and be seen as the artists that they are. Every artist is supported and encouraged to follow their own unique creative path. Join our team as a Assistant Creative Space Facilitator and help support the artists with their mahi.

The role involves helping to set up or pack down art equipment. Cleaning of paint brushes and trays, talking to participants about their art, assisting participants when required, while enabling them to do as much for themselves as possible.
On the job Training will be provided.

Requirements:

Good communicator, positive and friendly attitude, love of creativity.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

Thursdays 9am to 12pm or 1pm to 4pm (you are welcome to volunteer for the whole day if you wish).
