Help make our local civil defence exercise a success! We are looking for one-off volunteers for our annual civil defence exercise! We will be training staff on opening an Emergency Assistance Centre (Welfare Centre) and we need volunteers to pretend they have been impacted by a disaster.

When: Wednesday 15th May 2024, 1.45pm – 3.45pm
Where: Central Paraparaumu

What's involved:
You will be given a character sheet with some details about the person you are pretending to be. Our staff will use their training to try to help you as you arrive at the assistance centre.
You don’t need any acting skills just be yourself (you won’t be pretending to be distressed or injured).

Requirements:

We are looking for a range of everyday community members and there are no physical requirements or special acting skills needed!
