Kāpiti Coast United is one of the largest football clubs in Wellington, New Zealand, with senior teams in the Kāpiti Horowhenua league and over 500 junior members. Requirements:

The Volunteer Co-ordinator is responsible to the Management Committee. Their role is to drive engagement of Club Members (playing and non-playing) and facilitate involvement in Club activities. Our members/parents are asked when they register whether they would be prepared to help out, and in 2023 130 people said yes. Their responsibilities include:
• Work with the Club Administrator to identify, cultivate and manage a team of volunteers prepared to contribute to events and activities – including existing
• Ensure appropriate recognition is given for volunteer time and contribution
• Prior to monthly meeting – what events are coming up? What help will be needed? What events have happened since last meeting? Who needs to be recognised for their efforts?
• Organise an annual Volunteers event.

A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.
