Are quality, pre-loved clothes and household items your thing? Come and volunteer at this unique op shop in Raumati Beach! Our shop is a small op shop that has a steady flow of customers. We have many regular customers who enjoy coming in for a chat and our existing team of volunteers are a very friendly bunch.
Volunteers open and close the shop, serve customers using cash and EFTPOS, assist customers, tidy and clean the shop, bring in donations, take out rubbish, and sort donated goods.
Proceeds from the shop go directly to the running of our Church, including hiring our premises to 30 local community groups and small businesses such as art and exercise classes. We also run a Playgroup each week.
Friendly, team player. Willing to learn to use EFTPOS machine.
Volunteers normally work with one other person and work for either a morning or afternoon shift on a Tuesday or Thursday, i.e. 10.15 am to 1 pm or 1 pm to 4 pm. On Saturdays, the shift is 10.15 am to 1 pm. We would preferably like a volunteer/s to be available once per week or fortnight.
