Do you enjoy being around babies (under 12 months old) and supporting their parents/caregivers? Help this Plunket run its regular Paraparaumu coffee group! We are looking for someone with a friendly personality to co-run this weekly coffee group with another volunteer. Tasks will include: setting up the room, welcoming families, offering them a cuppa or a drink. During the meetings you will facilitate a safe and welcoming space for attendees and help caregivers get to know each other. Ongoing support from Community Services Coordinator provided if required.

Requirements:

Good communicator, active listener, enjoy interacting with babies under 12 months old and can relate to new parents. Friendly, warm, empathetic personality.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

Tuesday Mornings 9.30am to 12pm
