Heritage Communications Volunteer - Ōtaki

Are you interested in local history? Ōtaki Heritage is looking for a volunteer to help them connect with the local community by promoting events, activities, and publications. As a Heritage Communications Volunteer, you’ll play a key role in raising awareness of their work, increasing community engagement, and celebrating the rich heritage of the Ōtaki region.
In this role you will help create promotional material, media releases and advertising for newspapers, website and social media content.

Requirements:

Experience in website content preparation, social media and preparation of media releases desirable. Great written communication skills.
Interest in Ōtaki's local history and heritage. A great team player, reliable and a "can do" attitude.

Time commitment:

Flexible hours to suit you, but will need to attend occasional meetings in person.
