Do you have an active interest in supporting women? We are looking for Centre Volunteers to help ensure this Women's Centre runs smoothly. The role involves greeting all visitors to the Centre, ensuring they feel comfortable and at ease. Provide support and services to the women who visit the Centre including; taking bookings for courses, pregnancy tests, registering women for counselling, providing information either at the Centre or directing women to other help within the community, providing a listening ear and general support. Assist with administration and maintenance to ensure that we provide the best possible service in the best possible environment.
6 Training Sessions provided, next training will commence in May 2024.
An ability to develop good listening and rapport building skills. Ability to work within a team to support a wide range of women.
Friendly and a good level of self-awareness. This role is only open to women.
3 hour shifts available 9:00am - 3:00pm Monday to Friday
