Do you love fashion? Are retro, vintage and pre-loved clothes your thing? If you do, this role is for you! Our op shop is an integral part of the fundraising that we do to support our shelters and the rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing of animals in need. They are the face of the organisation and often the first point of contact for the public wanting to adopt an animal or find out more about our work. We are looking for Shop Assistants to help at in the shop selling quality second-hand clothing. The role includes sorting recently donated items, steaming clothes, pricing items for sale, general tidy of the shop, serving customers, answering queries about animal adoptions and HUHA in general.

Requirements:
  • Friendly and willing to go the extra mile for our customers
  • Motivated, reliable and trustworthy
  • Well presented as you’ll be the face of HUHA
  • Previous retail experience would be ideal (although not essential)
  • Able to commit to weekly or fortnightly shifts of 3 hours per shift
  • Over 16 years old with a reliable source of transport to the HUHA

A Police background check is required for this role.
