Environmental Enthusiasts

Are you an environmental enthusiast that is happy to get their hands dirty and has a desire to learn about native plants and birds? We are looking for keen people to assist with midweek planting and weeding at a local reserve in Otaihanga.
Tuition is given on the job. You will need to bring your own gloves and spade or grubber.

Requirements:

Enthusiastic and with an interest in gardening and environmental restoration.
Sociable, physically fit and able to take direction.

Time commitment:

Weekly on a Tuesday between 9.00am and 12.00pm, with a break for morning tea and chat. We meet at Greendale Drive entrance.
