Event description
This interactive session will help you effectively manage volunteers at your organisation. The Volunteer Best Practice Guidelines (BPG) provide a framework to consider and review your own practice, and learn from others.
Volunteer Kāpiti is excited to provide the sector a introduction to Volunteering New Zealand’s Best Practice Guidelines – Te Anga Whaitake.
Whether you came along last year or are new to the guidelines, this 2-hour session will give you practical ideas on how to strengthen, nurture, and sustain your volunteer programme.
✔️ Learn how to apply the guidelines in real life
✔️ Hear examples of best practice across the motu
✔️ Receive your free copy of the Guidelines booklet and workbook
✔️ Connect with other local organisations and share your experiences
The workshop will be based on the Volunteering New Zealand's 'Best Practice Guidelines (BPG).' You can access these on our website: https://volunteerkapiti.org.nz/organisations/resources which also provides a link to the Youtube clips of the BPG, which have been created by Volunteering New Zealand.
