This interactive session will help you effectively manage volunteers at your organisation. The Volunteer Best Practice Guidelines (BPG) provide a framework to consider and review your own practice, and learn from others.

Volunteer Kāpiti is excited to provide the sector a introduction to Volunteering New Zealand’s Best Practice Guidelines – Te Anga Whaitake.

Whether you came along previously or are new to the guidelines, this 2-hour session will give you practical ideas on how to strengthen, nurture, and sustain your volunteer programme.

The workshop will be based on the Volunteering New Zealand's 'Best Practice Guidelines (BPG).' You can access these on our website: https://volunteerkapiti.org.nz/organisations/resources which also provides a link to the Youtube clips of the BPG, which have been created by Volunteering New Zealand. This session will follow the same format.
