In March 2025 (18th and 25th), Kāpiti Impact Trust and Volunteer Kāpiti are excited to offer a two-part Te Tiriti o Waitangi workshop series designed specifically for the Community and Social Sector. These workshops, led by the highly experienced facilitator Te Huia Bill Hamilton, aim to deepen your understanding of Te Tiriti and its application in today’s context.
Workshop Details:
• Dates: 18th and 25th March 2025 (9am - 1pm on 18th and 9am - 11.30am on 25th)
• Format: Two sessions across two days
• Cost: $30 for Community and Social Sector organisations, $100 for non-sector participants
• Location: Kāpiti Impact Hub ( 6 Tongariro Street, Paraparaumu, 5032
• Morning Tea will be provided

These workshops are tailored for organisations that:
• Are values-driven to achieve social rather than profit-making goals.
• Operate as not-for-profits, reinvesting profits into their missions.
• Are based in and serve the Kāpiti Coast District from Paekākāriki to Ōtaki.
• Are independent of local and central government, defining their own purpose and vision.
About the Facilitator
Te Huia Bill Hamilton (Ngāti Kahungunu, Ngā Rauru, Ngāti Raukawa) is the owner of Treaty Solutions and brings over 25 years of expertise in Māori development, engagement, and human rights. His engaging facilitation style is rooted in practical community experience and knowledge of Te Tiriti as a framework for shared understanding and collaboration.
