A new bi-monthly meetup for social and community sector leaders across Paekākāriki and Ōtaki.
Launching Thursday 21 August 2025, this series is a space designed to help you refill your cup, strengthen leadership skills, and build authentic connections across our sector.

Meet the Facilitator – Judi Jones

Strategic and Collaborative Leader | Advocate for Fairness | Champion of Community Wellbeing

Judi is a respected and values-led leader who brings decades of experience across community, government, and not-for-profit sectors in Aotearoa and Australia. She has held senior roles including the Electricity & Gas Complaints Commissioner (NZ) and the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman (AU), where she led large teams through times of transformation and complexity.

Judi has served on several boards including the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority, Telecommunications Dispute Resolution Ltd, and the Sustainability Trust. Her governance and operational expertise are grounded in a deep commitment to fairness, inclusion, and community voice.
She is passionate about supporting leaders to grow, share knowledge, and lead with purpose. Known for her ability to hold space for honest kōrero and practical insight, Judi brings warmth, clarity and mana to every room she enters.
We are privileged to welcome Judi as our inaugural facilitator for Haumi – Gatherings for Good.

Each session will include:

• Peer Support: Celebrate wins and unpack the challenges
• Development Focus: We'll co-design the themes together
