Trade Aid Volunteers and Stock Angels - Volunteer Story Celebration 2024

Tell us why the team of volunteers inspired you to nominate them:

We are so grateful to our volunteer team here at Trade Aid Kāpiti. As you may know, Trade Aid is in the process of closing its retail stores. Our volunteers are so amazing, they have all committed to staying with us until we close and continue to turn up for their shift every single week. They have all been so supportive of each other and even though they don't often get to work with many others, they still support each other via our whatsapp group. Also, we started a new volunteer group called Stock Angels, this is a whatsapp group that answers my call to help us process the multiple pallets of stock that come every week or so. When the stock is ready to price, they willingly give their time to come in and help us get it processed so we can get it back into the shop. Honestly, we couldn't run our store without this team of amazing people.
