Kaibosh Kāpiti-Horowhenua Volunteers - 2023 Volunteer Story Comp

Everyday this group of wonderful volunteers inspires me. Kaibosh has 27 volunteers that come in and sort through the rescued food to make sure it is edible and of a certain standard to feed the community. They create wonderful boxes that go out to 28 charities and community groups in the Kāpiti Horowhenua region.They all come in with a smile on their face and a willingness to get stuck in. They work as a team and support each other, its just a great bunch of people!

Kaibosh would not be able to operate without these dedicated individuals.

Kaibosh is the link between the food industry and support charities and community services, by freeing up more of their time to focus on their clients and not worry about the food side of things. Thank you!This team is so passionate about the kai and how it is presented.

They make up beautiful boxes of amazing produce, dairy and dry goods for 28 charities and community groups in the Kāpiti-Horowhenua region, what could be more special than feeding hungry bellies!!!
