Kāpiti Coast United is one of the largest football clubs in Wellington, New Zealand, with senior teams in the Kāpiti Horowhenua league and over 500 junior members. Requirements:

Club Administrator – incl. Media and Comms • Manage the implementation and use of the Club’s IT system (Sporty) and its interface with Comet. Be the central point of contact for registration queries. Drive the collection of player subs and fines. • Contribute to the specification and working of the KCU website and be the central point of contact for content – posting updates and supporting others who want to post but don’t want to interact directly – eg. ensure all team cards/scores are captured as required. Seek content from Chairperson, Football Co-ordinators, Events Manager and others for the website. • Create and maintain a 12-month Club Calendar of events (Management Committee meetings, prizegiving, AGM, and functions as they are booked (quiz nights, private parties) • Support the organising of the Easter Tournament, Phoenix Day, U/19s Napier Tournament) • Manage the Club membership scheme (playing and non-playing members) • Manage communications with members – all members/specific subset(s)/specific individual member(s) • Manage Club email addresses (….@kcu.co.nz) • Ensure Club documents are filed and accessible as appropriate, including role descriptions and guidance to support succession planning.

A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

Most of the work can be done 'behind the scenes' in evenings and weekends, but attendance is required at Committee meetings once a month. The role is busy during registration periods (Feb/March/April) and less so during the rest of the year.
