Are you interested in helping to improve the lives of one parent families? Do you have a financial background or accounting skills? If so, then this role could be for you. We are looking for a Treasurer to support our Manager to oversee Birthright Kāpiti's general financial management. You will be important part of our Board team and help accesses risks and safeguard the financial health of the organisation.

Requirements:

Previous Treasurer experience or a financial/accounting background. Detail orientated and a good communicator.
Experience working with Xero.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

Board meetings are held every 2 months in the evenings. The meetings are held in our office which is up a flight of stairs but there is potential to Zoom into meetings if the meeting room is not accessible to you.
