Are you looking for a role where you can really celebrate the meaning of community? We are looking for friendly Raumati South locals to be part of this Organising Committee who are planning a "Re-opening Party" for the Raumati South Memorial Hall. The hall has been closed while the council have been wonderfully refurbishing it. Now that it is looking really great we want to celebrate and connect the community and get them to use the facility more!
The Re-opening Party will be held on Sunday 26th November from 1pm to 3pm, there will be live music, games for children, a collection of historical local photos, sausage sizzle and other fun family activities.
As an Organising Committee Member you will take ownership of one of the party activities and ensure it is well planned and runs smoothly on the day. Committee Members will work together as a team to support one another where needed and ensure the day is a great success.
A good team player, ideally from or connected to the Raumati South Community.
Flexible, available to attend committee meetings regularly until the 26 November. Must be available on Sunday 26th November.
