Age Concern Kāpiti are looking for a volunteer to help assist them with the day to day running of the Companion Walking Service in the Kāpiti region. In this office based role you will respond to phone and email enquires, process volunteer application forms, make volunteers ID cards, assist with printing, photocopying and room booking for training and update client details. You will be a valued member of this friendly Paraparaumu based team.

Requirements:

Good organisational and communication skills. Comfortable using a computer including Office 365.
Understand the needs of older people, the local area and cultural practices relevant to the population based of the area.
You will be empathic and respectful, self-motivated but also enjoy being part of a team.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

One day a week (Mon, Tues, Thurs or Fri) from 9.30am to 2pm.
