Help this local Amateur Radio Society increase their membership and public awareness. We are looking for someone with previous PR or marketing experience to help promote our activities. Kāpiti Amateur Radio Society exists to foster the amateur radio service in the Kāpiti district. They co-operate with local and regional council and NZ Police to support the community, whether of an emergency nature or not. It’s fun, educational, and can be a great lifeline during natural disasters when all other communication methods fail, which we have seen in recent times.
This role involves writing social media content, newspaper articles and organising radio promotions.

Requirements:

Previous PR or marketing experience, including social media.
An interest in the activities of the society.

Time commitment:

Flexible, approx 1 to 4 hours per week.
