Exhibition/Display Co-ordinator- Waikanae

Bring local history to life for our visitors!
Use your imagination and creative abilities to assist the Kapiti Museum to create displays and exhibitions that illustrate the domestic, social, occupational, farming, transportation, telecommunications and military life of early Waikanae and Kapiti.


An interest in presenting local history and the lives of people in days gone by.
An ability to visualise and plan the layout of exhibitions and cabinet displays using items from the Museum's collections and external resources.
An interest in or experience of interior design, window dressing, stage design or other display creation work.
Good communication skills.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

Flexible according to availability and demands of display turnover agreed with Museum Committee.
