Volunteer Cook

Do you love to make delicious meals? Would you like to put your cooking skills to good use? We are looking for a Volunteer Cook to make a monthly evening meal for a group of approx. 12 people (including children) at our mentoring programme for young people. You will be assisted by members of our team in the kitchen but the meal plan will be yours to create (previous meal ideas included soups, curries, risottos and salads).

Must have experience cooking for a group of people (approx 12 attendees) and excellent hygiene practices. Able to adapt meals for dietary requirements (i.e vegetarian or gluten free).
Food will be paid for by the Trust, you will be reimbursed if you do the shopping or you can provide a list to the team. Some food is also donated by Kaibosh Food Rescue so it would be great if you have experience adapting meals to available ingredients!

Time commitment:

One evening a month (day TBC but probably a Tuesday or Wednesday) and also 2 weekends at the end of May/beginning of June.

Getting started:
The first step is to express your interest by filling out the form below. We will then put you in touch directly with the organisation for more information on the role and how to proceed.
