Would you like to help people get the most out of their music therapy sessions? We are looking for an assistant to support people with and without intellectual disabilities participate in playing different kinds of musical instruments and singing with a music therapist. Training: 2 weeks of being trained with supporting the people with disabilities in the day program (2 x week, for 2 to 3 hours). Orientation to specific personal care routines & disabilities provided.


Preferably experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities. Comfortable participating in activities in the wider community while supporting people, managing behavioral needs (with training). An open attitude, ability to work as part of team, a desire to grow, and who want to make a meaningful difference in the world o Personal traits of creativity, flexibility, attention to detail, and ability to organize time and carry responsibility are important.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

Mondays 10am to 1pm
