Fundraising Specialist

Ōtaki Community Patrol

Are you a good planner and organiser, with knowledge on how to secure successful fundraising opportunities? Do you also enjoy getting things done and seeing the results of your efforts? We are looking for a Fundraising Specialist to assist a community safety focused organisation to source and secure ongoing funding. In this role you will be identifying potential funding sources, including sponsorship and donation opportunities within the community. You will work closely with members of the Committee to prepare and possibly even undertake the activities needed to secure funding. Initial induction provided, with ongoing support as required.


Attention to detail, ability to plan, with great communication skills (both written and verbal)and the drive to achieve results. A great team player who is friendly, reliable, proactive, hardworking and has a sense of humour.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

Flexible, approximately 4 hours/week which can mostly be done from home. Can either attend monthly Committee meetings to report back, or deal directly with the Chair.
