Bike Repair Enthusiast

Do you just love tinkering with bikes? Help us repair, refurbish and maintain our stock of bikes at our local bike library. While our official opening day is Thursday, this job can be done whenever you have some spare time. We would like it if you could share your skills by helping to run occasional bike maintenance courses.
Direction provided if you have the interest and basic skills. Good range of tools and spare parts available.

Ideally you will need to be familiar with a range of bikes but a person of any mechanical aptitude would be able to learn the role. We focus on children's bikes and also have a number of adult bikes. We don't do fancy hydraulic brakes nor do we use full suspension bikes.
Ability to engage with people.

Time commitment:

Whenever you have spare time to spend in our warm and cosy shed. The occasional Saturday or Sunday will also be appreciated if possible.
