Do you have experience of how to secure successful fundraising opportunities, particularly in the heritage or environmental sector? We are looking for an experienced Grant Writer to help our organisation source and secure ongoing funding. In this role you will be re-applying to existing funding sources as well as identifying potential funding opportunities within the community. You will work closely with members of the Committee to prepare and undertake the activities needed to secure funding.
Initial induction provided, with ongoing support as required. Previous successful grant applications available to use a framework for new applications.

Requirements:

Attention to detail, ability to plan, great communication skills (written and verbal) and the drive to achieve results.
A great team player who is friendly, reliable, proactive, hardworking and can work autonomously.
If you are able to incorporate other fundraising activities that would be most welcome.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

Flexible, approximately 4 hours/week which can mostly be done from home. Should be available to attend monthly Committee meetings as and when needed to report back, or could deal directly with the Chair.
