Cyclone Relief

Want to help, but not sure how? Financial donations are the most helpful at this stage. But we know people also want to give in other ways too. We have teamed up with Self Isolation Support Kāpiti and Student Volunteer Army to help collect needed items. Note we are being careful to provide a coordinated response and provide items when needed. We will keep on providing updates on what is needed throughout the week.

Current items needed for collection are:

• bottled water
• non-perishable food including:
  👉Cans of Tuna/Salmon
  👉Long Life Milk
  👉Milk Powder
  👉Milo
  👉Cappuccino/Mochaccino sachets (as already has milk in them)
  👉Pasta
  👉Tinned tomatoes
  👉Spaghetti
  👉Baked Beans
  👉Canned Soup
  👉Crackers
  👉Coconut Milk
• cleaning products
• toiletries
• first aid supplies
• nappies
• baby formula

Note: a lot of collection points are overwhelmed with bedding and clothes at this stage.

Needs are changing daily, we will keep you updated with what is best to donate as more information comes through. We plan to be sending the collection to the Hawkes Bay area on Sunday 5th March.
